AN APPEAL TO HELP ME FIND MY DAUGHTER

I, Heisnam Ongbi Geetabali Devi request you all to kindly help me find my daughter Monalisha Heisnam aged over 20 years. She left home on Monday, the 13^th of October at around 7:15 am, wearing a yellow colour T-Shirt and a blue phanek (sarong). She took no luggage or money but had a small gold chain and one gold ring. My daughter Monalisha left a note telling us that she was leaving home with an intention to finish her studies outside Manipur and will come back after four or five years.

A day after Monalisha left, we had informed the Imphal West Police Station adjacent to Manipur Secretariat, Babupara around 11 am and sought their help. On the same day, she sent an SMS to her younger brother at around 7:45 pm telling him that she was safe and was at a far away place to pursue her studies and there is no need to worry about. On further inquiry, the mobile phone she had used belonged to a person from Bangalore and the same person informed that there were two North-East girls who shared seat with him while travelling from Guwahati to Bangalore. The girls had requested him to use his mobile for sending an SMS at home. According to the person the SMS was sent while in transit. The person also informed that the girls got down at Howrah station while he proceeded with his journey to Bangalore. Since then, we have not been able to trace her whereabouts.

If anyone has any information about my daughter or happened to know her whereabouts, please tell her that her mother is worried and missing her a lot. All family members are emotionally wrecked and all her siblings are still shocked by her decision to leave home without a trace. We want her to return home safe or call home and tell us where she is and how she is. I once again appeal to you all to help me find my daughter.

I shall ever remain grateful to anyone who can give us information about my daughter Monalisha.
